Bu çalışmanın amacı, DKAB öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarının farklı değişkenlere göre incelenmesidir. Çalışmanın örneklemini 2019-2020 öğretim yılında 19 Mayıs Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi lisans programı ve İlahiyat Lisans Tamamlama (İLİTAM) uzaktan eğitim programına devam eden ve tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 784 öğretmen adayı oluşturmuştur. Çalışmada nicel araştırma türlerinden tarama (survey) modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri, Üstüner tarafından geliştirilen “Öğretmenlik Mesleği Tutum Ölçeği” ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırma verileri SPSS 22 istatistik programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde, tutum puanlarının normal dağılım göstermemesi nedeniyle parametrik olmayan testlerden Mann Withney U testi ile Kruskal Wallis H testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre; öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutum düzeyleri, “oldukça yüksek” düzeyde bulunmuştur. Öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutum puanlarının cinsiyet, sınıf, yaş, öğretim türü, öğretim programı, kendilerini başarılı buldukları ders grubu, çalışmak istedikleri meslek alanları ve akademik başarı algılarına göre farklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.
The aim of this study is to investigate attitudes towards the teaching profession of Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge teacher candidates in terms of different variables. The sample of the study consists of 784 teacher candidates who were selected by random sampling method and studied in the Faculty of Theology undergraduate program and Theology undergraduate completion program of 19 May University in the academic year of 2019-2020. In this research, the relational screening model, which is one of the quantitative research models, was used. The data of the research was obtained with the “Teaching Profession Attitude Scale” developed by Üstüner. The data of the research were analyzed with IBM SPSS 22 statistical software program. In the analysis of the data, Mann Withney U test and Kruskal Wallis H-test, which are non-parametric tests, were used. According to the results of the research; teacher candidates' attitudes towards the teaching profession were found to be “quite high” level. It has been determined that the attitude scores of the teacher candidates towards the teaching profession differ according to gender, class, age, type of education, undergraduate curriculum, the group of lessons they find themselves successful, Professional fields they want to work and their perceptions of academic achievement.
