Özet

Peripheral nerve injuries are widespread problems and seen after tumor resection and trauma. Nerve regenaration line is the most important point in transition of signal and lots of tecnics are developed for regeneration. In our study were used end-in-end repair recently restoration technique together with stem cell technology which is so popular, because of improving nerve regeneration. In both of ischiadical nerves of 10 New Zelland rabbits were performed incision and were repaired with the end-in-end repair technique. Then were given mesenchimal stem cell injection to only right sides. From the first group (n=5) in the end of first month and from the second group (n=5) in the end of thirth month were taken specimens. In the samples which were prepared from these specimens, were evaluated axonal regeration rates, myelin nerve thickness and axonal diameters with stereological analysis. Were demonstrated that in the right sides that were injected mecenchimal stem cell, axonal regeration were too much than others (p<0.005).
