İslam teolojik düşünce sistemi içerisinde genel Eş'arî düşünceye yakın duran Gazâlî'nin hüsün-kubuh meselesinde eklektik bir görüşe sahip olduğu görül-mektedir. Bu görüşün oluşumunda Eş'ari, Mâturîdî, Mu'tezili, felsefi ve tasav-vufi etkileri görmek mümkündür. Bu durumun, bir taraftan Gazali'nin yaşadı-ğı tarihsel-toplumsal bağlamın bir ifadesi olarak okunabilmesi mümkünken, diğer taraftan bunun, Gazali'nin bu konudaki düşüncesi hakkında hüküm vermekte önemli güçlükler ortaya çıkardığı da muhakkaktır.
Al-Ghazali, who stands close the idea of al-Ashari school located in the theological thought system of Islam, is seen as having an eclectic opinion on the issue of al-husn and al-kubh. It is possible to see Ashari, Mâturîdî, Mu'tazili, Philosophical and Mystical implications in the formation of this opi-nion. This situation is, on the one hand, can be read as an expression of histo-rical-social context in which al-Ghazali lives, on the other hand it is certain that serious challenges arise in giving judgment on the idea of al-Ghazali on this issue.
