Mastocytos is a heterogeneous group of diseases that is characterized by the infiltration of abnormal mast cells in the skin and internal organs. Mastocytosis usually presents with cutaneous lesions in children. For the diagnosis of cutaneous mastocytosis, dermal infiltration of mast cells must be shown histopathologically in addition to clinical findings. The most common form of cutaneous mastocytosis in children is known as urticaria pigmentosa and a large part of these cases exhibit a trend of improvement in the adolescent period. Darier's sign and dermographism are generally positive. Pruritus is the most common symptom. Here, three children with a diagnosis of urticaria pigmentosa are presented. All patients resorted with the yellow brown macules in the skin. One patient also had lesion in the scalp. Copyright © 2013 by Türkiye Klinikleri.
