In this study, it was aimed to define the relationships between temperature, light intensity and growth parameters for faba bean (Vicia faba L.) namely leaf area, leaf weight ratio, specific leaf area, leaf area ratio, net assimilation rate and relative growth rate. Changes in plant growth caused by the effects of environmental conditions such as temperature and light intensity were intended to be described by plant growth models. All equations produced for growth parameters were derived as affected by light intensity and temperature. As a result of multi-regression analysis, it was found that there was close relationship between actual and predicted growth parameters. The regression coefficients (R2) of the produced equations for growth parameters changed from R2: 0.73 (leaf weight ratio) to R2: 0.94 (leaf area ratio). © 2007 Academic Journals.
