Daha çok fıkıh usulü delillerinden biri olarak bilinen istishâb, benzer manada nahiv ilminde de mevcuttur. Nahiv âlimleri harf, kelime, cümle veya i‘râba dair asıl kaidelerin, geçerli bir delil olmaksızın değişmeyeceğini ifade etmek üzere söz konusu kavrama yer vermişlerdir. İstishâb kavramı her ne kadar geç bir dönemde nahiv literatürüne girmiş olsa da dilciler ilk dönemden itibaren bu delile dayanarak çeşitli hükümler inşa etmişlerdir. Bu çalışmada, istishâb kavramının navih ilminde ne şekilde tanımlandığına, dilciler tarafından nasıl kullanıldığına, konuya dair âlimlerin görüşlerine ve istishâba dair örneklere yer verilecektir. Böylelikle istishâbın nahiv ilmindeki yerinin genel bir çerçevesi oluşturulmaya çalışılacaktır.
The Istishab that known as one of the proofs of fiqh is also used in science of Arabic grammer (al-Nahw). Nahw scholars used the concept in order to state that the essential rules relatedletters, words, sentences or i'raab will not change without valid evidence. Although istishab was introduced into literature of nahw in the late period linguists have set up various rules ever since the first periods on the basis of this evidence. In this paper, we will try to show how the concept of istishab is defined in nahw science and how it is used by linguists and give the examples about the subject. By doing that, we will try to determine the general framework of the use of this concept in science of Nahw.
