Özet

The study was conducted to determine the effects of aqueous extracts of arugula, kale, garden cress and mint on second-stage juveniles and eggs of Meloidogyne arenaria. Concentrations of 1, 2 and 4% for fresh plant material and 0.5, 1 and 2% for dried plant material were used in the experiments. The most effective treatments on immobilized second-stage juvenile were detected in garden cress at 4%, mint and kale at 2 and 4% for aqueous extracts of fresh plants (96-100%), kale and mint at all concentrations and garden cress at 2% for aqueous extracts of dry plant parts (97-100%). The highest mortality rates of second-stage juvenile were kale at 2 and 4%, garden cress at 4% and mint at all concentrations for aqueous extracts of fresh plants (83-98%) and kale at 1 and 2%, garden cress at 2% and mint at all concentrations for aqueous extracts of dry plants (90-99%). Treatments that significantly reduced both gall and egg masses scales of the tomatoes grown in infested soil with nematode eggs compared to the control were the highest concentrations of garden cress and mint for aqueous extracts of fresh plants, 1 and 2% concentrations of arugula for aqueous extracts of dry plants.
