Özet

Objective: The aim of this study was to report the morbidity and mortality rates associated with hysterectomies performed at our unit and to recommend a plan to reduce complications. Methods: In this retrospective review of morbidity and mortality rates, we reviewed the charts of 1188 patients who underwent hysterectomy between 1999 and 2008 at the Ondokuz Mayis University Hospital in Samsun, Turkey.
