The tradition of wooden mosque construction has continued in Samsun region in which Carsamba Gogceli Mosque considered one of the oldest wooden mosque in Anatolia was built, and a lot of mosques were built in this manner. Of these mosques the ones built earlier have been the subject of several studies. The mosques built in republican period which are poor in terms of decoration were neglected. In this article new found mosques as Baskaya Willage Central Mosque, Igdir Willage Agha District Mosque, Igdir Willage Kaluk District Mosque, Bengii Willage Ambaryani Mosque, Yigitalan Willage Haynuz District Mosque, Yigitalan Willage Kuz District Mosque were studied. It is very important to study and to record these mosques which are the recent and modest examples of wooden cant! tradition in this region in ordet to document our cant! tradition.
