Relationship between spaces and human beings is shaped in terms of passages between perspectives and not in terms of spatial (geometric and geographic) differences or divisibility. Accordingly, the distinctive aspect of ‘sacred space’ is the existence of representation which paves a way to a consciousness of sacred as ‘the nearest and most distant’ at the same time. Hence sacred space reveals itself as an experience of temporality of passages between virtually limitless perspectives of this event of representation.
