sapma, Kolmogorov Smirnov Testi, Scheffe Testi, t Testi, tek yönlü varyans
analizi ANOVA, Levene’s Testi, Tamhane Testi ve Çoklu Regresyon
Analizleri kullanılmıştır. Yönetimin Demokratiklik Düzeyi Ölçeği’nin
çalışma grubuna uygulanması sonucunda, öğretmenlerin yöneticileri “çoğu
zaman” demokratik algıladıkları görülmüştür. Yönetimi demokratik bulma
düzeyleri; cinsiyet, öğrenim durumu, okul türü ve okuldaki çalışma süresi
değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılık göstermiştir. Medeni durum, mesleki
This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the
democratic level of school management and the psychological well-being of
teachers. Correlational screening model was used in the research. The
population of the research consists of 2615 teachers working in official
primary, secondary and high schools affiliated to the Ministry of National
Education in the province of Karabük and its districts in the 2017-2018
academic year. The sample of the study consists of 833 teachers working in
these schools and selected by simple random sampling method. Data
collected via personal information questionnaire, "The Democratic Level of
Management Scale" developed by Zencirci (2003) and the "Psychological
Well-Being Scale" with 8 articles, whose Turkish validity and reliability
study was conducted by Telef (2013). All statistical analyzes of the research
were carried out with the SPSS 14.0 program. Frequency, percentage
distribution, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Kolmogorov smirnov test,
Scheffe Test, t Test, one-way variance analysis ANOVA, Levene Test,
Tamhane Test and multiple regression analyzes were used in the analysis of
the research data. As a result of the application of the Democratic Level of
Management Scale to the study group, it was observed that teachers
"mostly" perceive the administrators as democratic. Levels of finding the
management democratic showed a significant difference according to the
variables of gender, education level, type of school and working time in
school. As a result of the application of the Psychological Well-Being Scale to
the study group, it was observed that the psychological well-being levels of
the teachers in the study group were generally at the level of "I agree". The
psychological well-being of the teachers showed a significant difference
according to the variables of gender, working time at school and branch. No
significant difference was observed in psychological well-being of the
teachers in terms of variables of marital status, professional seniority,
educational background and school type. As a result of the research, it was
concluded that there is a positive significant relationship between the level
of democracy of school management and psychological well-being of
teachers, and that the level of democracy of school management is a
significant predictor of teachers' psychological well-being
